Founded in 1995 to serve the needs of professional
romance authors, this chapter of Romance Writers of America
(RWA) is now 400-plus members strong, and we're continually
growing.
Every other year we congregate in New York City, the
home of publishing, for our PASIC Power Conference, with
workshops featuring panels of editors, agents, artists,
public relations experts and more. The three-day event
is kicked off by a fabulous reception, where attendees
congregate with publishing professionals over cocktails
and hors d'oeuvres.
Other benefits abound for members of PASIC. Online chats with publishing professionals are held in spring and fall. In those years when we do not hold our New York PASIC Power Conference, we throw an industry apprection reception during RWA's national conference--an event that can't be beat. And, at the heart of PASIC is our email loop, where members meet, share ideas, ask questions, discuss industry happenings, and network, day in and day out.
